1. What color concealer should I wear and how do I apply it?
Great question! Concealer is the most often misused product I see women wearing. Concealer goes under the foundation. Apply it under the eyes, on the eyelids and on any skin discoloration. Remember, concealer hides imperfections where foundation evens out skin tone. For a fair skin tone use a neutral light concealer. For a medium skin tone use a medium warm concealer.

2. How do I keep my face looking fresh and youthful while wearing foundation?
Avoid anything that has talc(powder) or is too thick. This will give a caked look and will show fine lines or wrinkles. Natural Style’s Silicone Base or SB provides a sheer look with full coverage. Use over concealer for longer wear ability. Silicone actually fills in lines and wrinkles giving an airbrushed look from the comfort of your own home.

3. I’m 40 years old. Should I still be wearing black eyeliner?
Wearing black liner is a no no for the woman over 40. To avoid looking tired and older use a sable brown pencil instead.

4. How do I apply a contour color on my eyelid? 
Always apply contour colors from the outside in. This allows the most color to be at the edge of the eye rather than the middle which can make an eye look heavier.

5. How do I apply my blush correctly?
Blush is color for contour. Use your cheekbone as your guide. Use a chiseled contour blush brush for exact application. Never apply blush to the forehead, nose or chin.

6. Do I need a lip liner every time I wear lipstick or lip gloss?
A gloss or sheer lipstick never requires a lip liner. Use a liner for lipsticks that are deeper in color and texture to avoid feathering into the lip line.
